Download the full report to understand how Snowflake delivers speed and the insight to identify the bad guys, and the good guys, for White Ops to deliver ad-fraud detection algorithms to its customers.
White Ops is a leading provider of cyber security services for the detection and prevention of advanced bot and malware fraud. Unlike traditional approaches that employ statistical analysis, simple blacklisting, or static signatures, White Ops effectively combats ad fraud by differentiating between robotic and human activity through the use of detection algorithms.
White Ops’ solutions must analyze a torrent of real-time data — intercepting the data; interpreting whether the data indicates fraud; and aggregating statistical data for confidence, reliability, and impact reporting. They needed a way to simplify and standardize the process of getting answers in order to increase their responsiveness to new and emerging threats.
White Ops implemented Snowflake’s data warehouse built for the cloud delivered as a service. Analysts can now access data directly, without relying on IT. White Ops can keep all resulting data in one place, scale elastically, and query structured and semi-structured data with standard SQL.
Implementing Snowflake has helped White Ops develop and release new algorithms in a fraction of the time previously required – from days to less than two hours. White Ops has also acquired deeper insight from data-driven results that are more accurate and accessible.
White Ops can consolidate and scale its massive amounts of data, make data accessible without waiting for specialists, and acquire the speed and agility to respond quickly to emerging threats while improving overall operations to maintain its competitive advantage and ensure its future success.
